A lustrous, sharply terminated, complete all-around, pearlescent, 2.2 cm aragonite variety tarnowitzite crystal jauntily set upright on contrasting malachite-covered matrix from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. Tarnowitzite is the moderately rare lead-rich variety of aragonite and this is a good one. Ex Rob Smith Collection. Super aesthetic example of this aragonite varietal, with as much contrast both in color and form as you could ask for. Valued $250.
