Item Description
Well-crystallized Tarnowitzite (Plumboan or lead-rich Aragonite) produces attractive specimens that are uncommon and sought-after. The sharp, hexagonal crystals are terminated, and the white color displays nicely against the contrasting, green-tinted matrix. The crystals range up to 1.3 cm, and they are clustered in four areas across the matrix. Tsumeb has produced some if the best, if not the best, Tarnowitzite specimens, and this large small-cabinet specimen upholds that tradition. Nice white fluorescence adds to the interest. Good quality and good aesthetics.
