Item Description

A cute colorful and pristine two-sided floater aragonite crystal from recent finds at this well-known Spanish locale. Stunning stellate form with striking translucent lavender "rays" with satin lustre surround the core of gray to brown aragonite on this shapely pseudo-hexagonal crystal. These are certainly some of the most colorful and sculptural aragonite examples in the world. The piece is probably a thin sliced "cross section" of the prismatic crystal and has been lightly cleaned with acid to bring out the bright, sparkly exterior lustre and nubby texture, which really enhances the piece. A most colorful, sculptural and exotic two-sided example of a common species.
