Item Description
Aragonite is RARE from any of the localities listed by MINDAT for Pakistan. This is a stunning, 3-dimensional, 360-degree, very rich stellate spray of lustrous, translucent, bluish-gray spikes from the Skardu area. The spikes are up to 3.7 cm long. Complete all-around. For all of the many crystals, the piece is in excellent shape. Some broken spikes are noted on the top and are very scattered on the periphery, along with some contacted crystals. Ex Kurt Hefendehl collection, a well-known German collector who amassed a world-wide collection of over 6000 pieces. This is an exceptionally aesthetic and RARE style of aragonite from Pakistan.
