Item Description

A classic specimen of the fairly well known yet hard to find examples of Aragonite pseudomorphing after Glauberite from Camp Verde. This is an attractive specimen featuring an excellent, remarkably distinct, sharp, well-formed crystal with a medium golden color on matrix. The original habit of the tabular Glauberite crystals is completely preserved now by the Aragonite. There are some smaller pseudomorphs on the bottom of the specimen, but the larges crystal at the top of the piece measures 4.2 cm long. This is a rarely seen matrix specimen of this elusive material, and if you're a pseudomorph collector, don't miss out on this showy and fine quality example.
