A striking and excellent example of the aragonites from this one-time find we bought out a few years ago - not only beautiful, but an important new find of aragonite from anywhere, much less America. They have a unique look, with the crystals growing like teeth off of an earlier generation of aragonite. The crystals really stick up off the matrix in bold relief, in a series of interconnected bursts of crystals framed by the contrasting iron-rich matrix. If you do not have one of these, we were able to buy the remaining pieces from this single pocket from the original miner, so we have all there is of it! We are getting close to the end of our stash. This piece displays well.
