Item Description
Helictites are limestone cave formations that changes its axis from the vertical at one or more stages during its growth. They have a curving or angular form that looks as if they were grown in zero gravity. This is a stunning, intricate bridgework of tan aragonite. A fabulous 360-degree specimen, that looks like a nest of small bones or Tinker Toys. This is very rare and fine older material from the Potosi Mine at Santa Eulalia and comes with a faded handwritten label. Ex Schlichter Collection.
