Item Description
Texas is not necessarily known for its mineral specimens, so they are somewhat sought after by collectors. This piece is one of the few Aragonites from near Clarendon in northern Texas that I've seen. It really reminds me of Aragonites from Los Molinillos. It is a sharp, well-formed, pseudo-hexagonal, lustrous to waxy semi-translucent reddish-peach to nearly cololess group of this hard to find material. A full sized thumbnail, and if you collect minerals of Texas or just obscure U.S. specimens, this is a cool piece to pick up for your collection. The piece comes with a cool old Rocksmiths label.
