Aragonite (fluorescent) w/ Epidote ex Obodda

Item Description

Aragonite is rare from the well-known Alpine-type deposits at Alchuri. This excellent two-sided matrix combination features a pristine 5.3 cm, terminated, translucent crystal aesthetically set on the matrix plate. Part of the crystal termination has attached matrix, but there is no damage. The sculptural broad plate in the front is covered with tiny aragonites and surprisingly, the back of the plate is festooned with tiny gemmy, olive-green epidote crystals. Moderate pink aragonite fluorescence. Very fine and RARE combination material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock.
