Item Description

10 aragonite crystals are aesthetically intergrown on this very sculptural small cabinet floater specimen from a new 2023 find at this well-known Spanish locale. All of the crystals are doubly terminated and the dominating large "barrel" is 4.3 x 3.7 x 3.0 cm. The sharp, multi-hued, pseudo-hexagonal crystals have beautiful lavender mid-sections, colorless terminations and are translucent with high waxy luster. Essentially pristine, with only trivial edge bruising to the second largest crystal. These impressive bi-colored floater aragonite crystals are certainly some of the most colorful and sculptural examples of the species in the world. A remarkable and exotic example of a common species. Every turn presents a dramatically different perspective to this excellent specimen.
