Aragonite (ex Harold Urish Collection)

Item Description

I've only seen a handful of these specimens, and if you're an Arizona collector, I can't imagine you have one in your collection. This piece features two distinct habits of white Aragonite raning from thin, translucent prisms to white "puff ball"-shaped aggregates on contrasting brown gossan matrix. It certainly resembles other I have seen from Ash Fork, and honestly looks like Aragonite that I've seen in underground cave formations. A cool reference specimen that would make a great addition to an Arizona suite.
