Item Description
This is an intergrown cluster of lustrous and translucent, ocher-colored, twinned crystals of aragonite. The crystals reach 4.0 cm in length and a few of them are also doubly terminated. This is an excellent example of a somewhat less-collected member of the calcium carbonate family still worthy of respect. It is common material, but an unusually sparkly and pretty example. Jack purchased this from longtime friend and legendary dealer in California, A.L. McGuinness, in the 1980s
