Aragonite (''egg'')

Item Description

A very hard to find Aragonite "egg" from the lesser known Dattaw-taung (Dattaw Hill) locality in the Mogok Valley. We've seen this style of Aragonite from various world localities, but VERY few from Dattaw-taung. This piece of what are sometimes referred to as "cave pearls" that occur in certain mining environments, but almost impossible to find form Myanmar. I will say that the few others I've seen from this locality are more spherical, and this one has a much more defined ovoid shape.

Bill has traveled the world for decades in search of fine gems and minerals, and was directly involved in the in-person acquisition and importation of superb specimens and stones from Myanmar (Burma).
