Item Description

Here we have a beautiful and distinctly different kind of blue Aragonite specimen from the Wenshan Mine. Aragonite is not always found in fine crystallized display specimens, and they are also typically white or off-white in color. This piece features the most desirable combination of fine crystals along with a beautiful pastel blue color (due to minor copper content in the Aragonite). The crystals have formed eye-catching "sprays" comprising, thin individual bladed crystals, with very minor matrix. The piece is in very good shape, and overall, it's a very showy and fine quality example of these gorgeous specimens from Wenshan. From a recent find in mid 2022.
