Item Description
A lovely miniature sized specimen from a discovery in 2020 featuring light blue Aragonite from Wenshan, the same locality where the pretty blue Hemimorphites come from. Just like the Hemimorphites, these gorgeous and now famous blue Aragonites get their color from the copper content. The piece hosts eye-catching thin crystals of Aragonite forming beautiful somewhat spherical "sprays" on minor matrix. The color and relative translucency of the Aragonites allows the piece to almost "glow" with a brightness that you don't often associate with the material.
