Item Description
Aragonite specimens from this well-known, historic locale are a Czech classic. This is a textbook, elongated orthorhombic aragonite crystal from Spitzberg, Bilina, Usti Region, Bohemia. The termination is water-clear, with the rest of the translucent crystal having a pleasing light amber color. The crystal faces are typically waxy and frosted/etched. Complete all-around and pristine. Spitzberg is world-famous for aragonite crystals and this is an outstanding one. Old and choice material from the John Sinkankas and Robert Nowakowski Collections.
