Item Description
A classic for this famous Spanish locality, this is a choice, doubly-terminated, Aragonite floater. Virtually pristine, the hexagonal prism has peneterating twins along the c-axis, emerging at each termination. The prism faces are glassy, while the terminations themselves have a more variable luster that is mostly matte, with some areas of higher reflectivity. The coloration of this translucent to gemmy Aragonite is mostly grey to clear, with hints of purple and red throughout. Highly representative of the locality, this was #3422a in Kay's collection, and was acquired about a half-century ago.
