Aragonite

Item Description

I've seen plenty of attractive white Aragonites from Santa Eulalia, but rarely have I encountered one of these gorgeous iron-included pieces with the brilliant orange color. The Aragonite has formed in layers, as you can tell from the side where one of them is open / exposed, and composed of layeres of alternating white and orange Aragonite. The sparkling luster combined with the beautiful color makes for a great overall specimen. A few minor white / colorless crystals of what could be Calcite or possibly just un-included Aragonite sit at the top of the piece. No real damage to speak of and just pretty!
