Item Description

This locality is known for its unique pseudomorphs of Copper after Aragonite, but this INCREDIBLY large (for the locality) specimen features a NON-pseudomorphed crystal group of sharp white/beige pseudo-hexagonal Aragonite. Some of the crystals show slight hoppering, giving the piece a bit more depth. Personally, I have seen only a handful of these un-pseudomorphed pieces from Coroco, but this is one of the more interesting and eye-catching pieces that I have offered from the locality due to the fact that we have more than one crystal present. They are MUCH more rare than the pseudomorphs of Copper after Aragonite in my experience. This specimen is a fine example of this material, and really impressive for Corocoro. If you're a Bolivian collector, or an oddities collector, don't miss out on this one, because it's one of the few I have to offer.
