Item Description
Sculptural and pristine 360-degree mounded cluster of densely intergrown aragonite prisms from the well-known deposits at Cuenca, Spain. The lustrous, translucent crystals have textbook pseudo-hexagonal form with a purplish core and glassy, colorless terminations. Some of the crystals are doubly terminated with the largest at 2.3 cm end-to-end. The attachment is at the base. The crystal density is way above average for this excellent example of this common material. Every turn presents a different visual aspect of the piece.
