Item Description

A beautiful association specimen of red, white and blue minerals together on one piece. It features a GEM quality, sharp, lustrous, powder blue prismatic Aquamarine crystal with a couple of striated rich wine red color, translucent, lustrous crystals of dodecahedral Spessartine sitting on a slightly etched / stacked, lustrous / pearly white blocky crystal of Albite. For Garnet collectors, this is a good Aquamarine and Fe-rich Spessartine specimen, and the pieces from Shengus are among the best red Spessartines in the world. This piece was pictured on Mineral Classics Facebook page for their "red white and blue" selection on the 4th of July, 2013.
