When it comes to Aquamarine, Pakistan is the most productive country for specimens in the last 30 years. Some of the very finest quality Aquamarine specimens come from the various pegmatites in the Pakistani high mountain valleys, including the pieces from the famous Nagar region. This locality has produced some of the most exciting Aquamarine specimens in recent years. This piece features a sharp, glassy, GEM quality, beautiful blue color, doubly-terminated, hexagonal prismatic crystal of Aquamarine which is associated with minor thin black prisms of Schorl along with silvery Muscovite and off white colored Albite. It's difficult to illustrate the transparency of the Aqua crystal, but take my word for it, it's very gemmy in person. A very attractive, fine quality gem crystal specimen this famous Pakistani pegmatite locality.
