Aquamarine with Schorl (2009 find)

A 3.7 cm, pretty blue aquamarine crystal is strikingly set on the side of highly etched feldspar crystals on this very aesthetic combination specimen from the August, 2009 find in the Erongos. Extremely limpid, gemmy termination areas characterize this find and this is a very fine example, with the typically crackly lower section. This aqua has a striking notch on the termination and a very nifty sidecar crystal. Perched on the back of the feldspars are nicely accenting lustrous schorl crystals. Very trivial, barely noticeable termination wear is noted on the aqua. This is a highly representative and beautiful example of the find. Fairly valued at $400. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
