Aquamarine with Scheelite on Muscovite

These specimens are some of the most unique and attractive Aquas from any locality. Tjhey have become some of the most distinctive and easily recognizable Aquas on the planet. Tabular Aquamarine crystals are rare, but some of the Aquas from Xuebaoding are absolutely superb quality to boot! This particular piece features a very sharp, highly lustrous, GEM quality, light blue, unusually tabular hexagonal crystal of Aquamarine measuring 2.7 cm across sitting atop a crystallized matrix of compressed, bladed, silvery Muscovite crystals. Additionally there is a very sharp, 4 mm, golden-orange color pseudo-octahedron of Scheelite on the top of the piece for a nice touch. The quality is very good and the main Aquamarine crystal is very gemmy, when so many from this locality are essentially opaque. A great quality specimen from this unique locality. Valued at $400.
