Aquamarine with Scheelite

This locality has produced some of the most distinctive and signature specimens from China. The combinations of Aquamarine and Scheelite are incredible and world class for what they are. Tabular Aquamarine crystals are rare, and arguably the best ones are found at this locality. This particular piece features sharp, lustrous, gem/gemmy light blue, unusually tabular crystasl of Aquamarine measuring up to 2.3 cm across which are associated with a 2.1 cm very sharp, rather lustrous, single crystal of soft orange color Scheelite that is aesthetically flaring off the side of the piece! Additionally there are some compressed, bladed, silvery Muscovite crystals on the specimen for an added touch. The quality is very good and the main Aquamarine crystal is incredibly gemmy, when so many from this locality are essentially opaque. The piece can be displayed from several angles as you can see from the photos. A great quality specimen from this unique locality. Valued at $950 in the inventory.
