Item Description

Some of the finest world-class Aquamarine specimens have been found in the various pegmatite localities in Pakistan, which has been the most productive country for specimens in the last 30+ years. Most people associate Pakistani Aquas with the Shigar Valley, but nearby in Nagar, some really gorgeous pieces have been found for many years. This attractive and showy small cabinet piece features a group of sharp, glassy, GEMMY, soft blue color, hexagonal prismatic crystals of Aquamarine which are associated with bladed groups of silvery Muscovite. The largest crystal measures 3.6 cm long and they all have classic basal terminations with elegant tiny modifying pyramidal modifications on the edges. Very minor roughness can be seen, but it's easily forgiven for the supreme gemminess and quality of these crystals. A fine quality, A lovely small cabinet sized display specimen of this classic material from Chumar Bakhoor.
