Item Description
When it comes to Aquamarine, Pakistan is the most productive country for specimens in the last 20 years. Some of the very finest quality Aquamarine specimens come from the various pegmatites in the Paki Himalayas, including the pieces from the famous Nagar region. This locality has produced some of the most exciting Aquamarine specimens in recent years. This piece features a group of sharp, glassy, translucent soft blue color, hexagonal prismatic crystals of Aquamarine which are associated with silvery Muscovite. The large crystal is doubly-terminated, and to my eye, the piece appears to be a "floater", as I cannot see a point of attachment. It' a very attractive, good quality gem crystal specimen this famous Pakistani pegmatite locality.
