When it comes to Aquamarine, Pakistan is the most productive country for specimens in the last 20 years. Some of the very finest quality Aquamarine specimens come from the various pegmatites in the Paki Himalayas, including the pieces from the famous Nagar region. This locality has produced some of the most exciting Aquamarine specimens in recent years. This piece features a cluster of sharp, translucent, soft blue color, hexagonal prismatic crystals of Aquamarine which are associated with silvery Muscovite. The bottom is actually recrystallized, so it's a "floater" with no real point of attachment. A very attractive gem crystal specimen this famous Pakistani pegmatite locality.
