Aquamarine with Albite on Muscovite

These specimens are some of the most unique and attractive Aquas from any locality. Tjhey have become some of the most distinctive and easily recognizable Aquas on the planet. Tabular Aquamarine crystals are rare, but some of the Aquas from Xuebaoding are absolutely superb quality to boot! This particular piece features a sharp, lustrous, VERY gemmy, light blue, unusually tabular crystal of Aquamarine measuring 1.5 cm across sitting atop a crystallized matrix of small blocky white Albite and compressed, bladed silvery Muscovite. The quality is very good and the piece was hard to photograph, but it's very attractive in person. A good quality specimen from this unique locality.
