Some of the very finest quality Aquamarine specimens come from the various pegmatites in the Paki Himalayas, especially the pieces from around Shigar. This locality has produced some of the most exciting Aquamarine specimens in recent years. This piece features a 1.8 cm, superb, sharp, lustrous, GEM quality, soft blue color, stout, prismatic crystal of Aquamarine sitting atop a mound of white Albite and minor Muscovite.
