Aquamarine with Albite and Muscovite

These specimens are some of the most unique and attractive Aquas from any locality. Tjhey have become some of the most distinctive and easily recognizable Aquas on the planet. Tabular Aquamarine crystals are rare, but some of the Aquas from Xuebaoding are absolutely superb quality to boot! This particular piece features sharp, lustrous, VERY gemmy, light blue, unusually tabular crystals of Aquamarine measuring up to 1.0 cm across sitting atop a crystallized matrix comprising small blocky white Albite and compressed, bladed silvery Muscovite. I love the stacked arrangements of the piece with the Aquas and the Albites standing upon one another in a somewhat columnar form. The quality is very good and the piece was hard to photograph, but it's very attractive in person. A good quality specimen from this unique locality.
