Item Description

A very interesting pseudo-twinned crystal of Aquamarine with a compressed form and good internal gemminess The crystal is certainly a parallel growth between two crystals, and as far as I know, Beryl does not twin. The color is a very soft pale blue, and the crystal looks like a piece of sculpted ice. The Aqua is sitting atop a matrix of silvery-bronze colored Muscovite and off-white Albite. The reverse side of the specimen shows some minor etched red Spessartine. I have to stress that this piece looks better in person than the photos might indicate. Priced at $700.
