Item Description
These specimens are some of the most unique and attractive Aquas from any locality. Tjhey have become some of the most distinctive and easily recognizable Aquas on the planet. Tabular Aquamarine crystals are rare, but some of the Aquas from Xuebaoding are absolutely superb quality to boot! This particular piece features a predominant, sharp, lustrous, GEM/gemmy, soft blue, tabular hexagonal crystal of Aquamarine measuring 1.6 cm with a few secondary Aquas aesthetically sitting on matrix with small white crystals of Albite or Microcline bladed silvery Muscovite crystals. The main Aquamarine crystal is damage free, but what makes it even more enticing is that it shows a brilliant icy blue fluorescence under SW UV light! In my experience, there are NOT a lot of Beryl crystals that fluoresce like this! A great display representative specimen from this unique locality. Valued at $500.
