Item Description

A fabulous, diverging cluster of rare, heliodor (yellow-green beryl) with aquamarine-tipped crystals from a recent one-time find in the Erongo Mountains. Each of the gemmy and lustrous yellow-green crystals, to 3.3 cm, have good color, become gemmier toward their terminations and have a distinctive 2-4 mm zone of blue at their terminations. Included schorl needles and the matrix of feldspar and schorl add additional pazzazz. All of the primary crystals are pristine, with the basal periphery wear having virtually no impact. Very RARE material, amazing, and most unusual. A fascinating and striking beryl of unusual nature.
