Aquamarine tipped Heliodor (rare)

Item Description

A fabulous, diverging cluster of rare, heliodor (yellow beryl) with aquamarine-tipped crystals from a recent one-time find in the Erongo Mountains. Each of the gemmy and lustrous yellow-green crystals have good color, become gemmier toward their terminations and have a distinctive 2-4 mm zone of blue at their terminations. The primary crystals are pristine, with only two of the lower sidecar crystals having broken tips. Very RARE material, amazing, and most unusual. A fascinating and striking beryl of unusual nature.
