These specimens are some of the most unique and attractive Aquamarines from any locality. They have become some of the most distinctive and easily recognizable Aqua specimens in the world. Tabular Aquamarine crystals are rare, and these notably tabular crystals from Mt Xuebaoding are absolutely superb quality to boot ! This particular piece features a predominant eye-catching, inredibly sharp, very lustrous, GEM/gemmy, soft blue color, unusually TABULAR and notably THICK hexagonal crystal of Aquamarine measuring 5.4 cm across associated with a several smaller Aquas sitting on a matrix of bladed, silvery Muscovite. The quality is VERY GOOD and the aesthetics leave nothing to be desired. Many of the smaller Aquas are nearly water-clear, when so many from this locality are essentially opaque. A GREAT specimen from this unique locality. I honestly cannot see any damage to the main Aqua crystal with the naked eye. Priced in our inventory at $3,500 for gemminess, thickness and overall superior quality. This piece is better than the vast majority of Aquas we've offered from this locality.
