Aquamarine, Spodumen, Quartz & Lepidolite ex Obodda

A RARE and impresssive large combination specimen from Nuristan and the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Aquamarine with spodumene (yellow-green triphane) is rare from this locality. Two, glassy, gemmy, light blue aquas (to 3.3 cm) with water-clear and frosted faces; three, gem, blocky, tabular, triphane crystals to 2.8 cm; and massive pastel-pink lepidolite are nicely scattered on the aesthetic matrix of glassy quartz crystals (most with frosted faces, but some water-clear). The largest quartz (upper center-left & near horizontal) is 4.4 cm and is doubly terminated. Essentially pristine, with only very trivial edge and periphery wear. Rare, quality combination material valued by Herb at $1500, over 5 years ago. It is certainly worth more today. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
