Aquamarine & Smoky Quartz (Strauss Coll.)

Item Description

Three, gem, pretty light blue aquamarine crystals, to 3.0 cm, and a 2.5 cm schorl crystal are very attractively set on the sculptural and impressive large smoky quartz crystal matrix. The well-placed and pristine aqua at the top is 2.1 cm long. The terminated very glassy and lustrous smokies are water-clear and have fine color. The 3.0 cm aqua has a gently bruised termination edge. The basal periphery wear and some bruising to the smokies up top are noted, but this remains a dramatic and excellent large two-sided combination from the Shigar Valley and the Uwe Strauss Collection. The piece displays well without aid.
