Aquamarine & Smoky Quartz on Feldspar (Charlie Key)

Item Description

A striking and sculptural combination specimen from the Erongo Mountains and the Charlie Key dealer stock. The highly etched, unusual looking feldspar matrix hosts an attractive scattering of gemmy and lustrous, frosted, pretty blue aquamarine crystals and an imposing, 3.7 cm, smoky quartz crystal on the left side of th piece. The well-placed, isolated, aqua in the upper middle is 1.2 cm and the largest crystal in the front is 2.2 cm. A nice bonus is the 2.5 cm, doubly terminated aqua on the back. The extreme and unusual etching of the feldspar make this a showy and artistic piece.
