Aquamarine set (rare, old )

Item Description

VERY RARE, highly unusual old-time aquamarine crystals from this Madagascar pegmatite first described in 1922 (MINDAT). The four very interesting lustrous prisms have uncommon tabular hexagonal form, pretty greenish-blue color with striking gem pyramidal terminations above the translucent bodies. The crystals are all pristine and the large prism has an etched cavity on one side, adding character. Total mass is 14 grams. A unique, rare old-time aqua suite from the locale. From an old stash we bought over a decade ago from a Madagascar exploraton geologist.
