Featuring a straight and proud aquamarine crystal of textbook shape and form, accented by gemmy and lustrous quartz, this large matrix specimen is IMPACTFUL! The piece is a complete pocket of contents in one, with quartz and aquamarine but also tourmaline (schorl) and the beautiful white cleavelandite matrix hosting it all. It has a lot of contrast in both color and texture, a large size, and a simply "museum" style look to it. It is complete all around, and in remarkably fine condition: The large aquamarine is 7 x 4 x 4 cm and miraculously, without repairs. There is a minor restoration along the left edge of the large upper-leftmost quartz,, that is frankly nearly invisible and hard to notice without knowing it is there (circled in red). There are no other repairs or restorations and it is complete all around. Donated by Stuart Wilensky to the Museum's benefit, and valued in the $20-25,000 range. 5 kilos mass !
