Item Description
Superb, classic Erongo Aqua cluster, reminiscent of many of the fine pieces in the MR Erongo issue of a few years ago. The Aquas have superb luster, and very good color - mottled in the transluscent portion just like the cover Aqua. The gemmy terminations are water clear, and beautiful. The two largest crystals are 4.3 cm tall (and 2.6 cm width across! ) and 3 cm, respectively. The Schorls average about 2 cm in length. They have excellent luster and many are doubly terminated. One termination is classic smooth faces, while the other termination iscomposed of many fine, jackstraw needles, similar to what you may see with etching. All on large Orthoclase crystals. A terrific combination of beautiful Aquas, fine Schorls, and large contrasting Orthoclases. Valued $1000-1250
