Aquamarine, Schorl, and Orthoclase

Item Description

First-rate combination piece of excellent Aquamarines, lustrous Schorls, and Orthoclase. The Aquas have superb luster, good color, and mirror-like, sharp terminations. The largest of these is 3 cm long. These are intergrown with lustrous, Schorls that have an excellent trigonal termination on one end, and the classic spikey etching effect at the other termination. The largest is 3.4 cm long and about 1.8 cm across. Along with the Orthoclases, they provide a beautiful contrast to the gemmy Aquas. From the great find of 2009, this, to my eye, is one of the more aesthetic pieces I have been able to offer on here.
