Aquamarine, Schorl, and Feldspar

Exceptional cabinet specimen with top-notch Aquamarines, Feldspars and Schorls, from Erongo. There are four significant Aquas. They range from 3.5 cm down to 2 cm, and all have good color and luster. As is typical for Erongo, the top cm or so is gemmy. The longest of the coated Feldspars is about 12 cm, and the widest is 6 cm across. The lustrous Schorls are striated, have one etched termination, and they range up to 3 cm in length. There is even some Hyalite Opal on the Schorl and Feldspar in the upper portion of the specimen. The aesthetics and balance of this piece are superb. Certainly it is one of the best of these that have been offered in the Key auctions. MUCH better in person.
