Some of the best contemporary Aquamarine specimens are those from Erongo. Not only is the quality superb on many of these Aqua specimens, but the associations can make for some really stellar specimens. This piece features a few sharp, lustrous, gem/gemmyRICH blue color Aquamarine crystals aesthetically intergrown with contasting black Schorl on cream colored Feldspar matrix to create a lovely thumbnail specimen. The overall quality and form makes for a great display piece. The largest Aqua measures 2.1 cm long, and is undamaged, though the secondary Aqua is contacted. The color is amazingly STRONG for crystals of this size as Beryls typically are much softer in color in smaller crystals. A nice specimen of this contemporary classic material. Valued at $400.
