Item Description
A very cool and aesthetic combination specimen from this obscure Pakistan locale - Raikot. A striking, 3.5 cm, glassy quartz crystal "guards" the field of gemmy and lustrous, powder-blue, aquamarine crystals to 1.4 cm. The matrix of this fine, two-sided rib is composed of lustrous, tabular, albite variety pericline crystals, which are preferentially covered with tiny pearlescent muscovite plates. The backside has two more aquas, with etched, not broken terminations. One may be the extension of the aqua next to the quartz crystal. Essentially pristine, with only very trivial bruising to the quartz termination. Choice and rare combination material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued by Herb at $550, five or more years ago. It is certainly worth more today.
