Item Description
A rare style from the well-known Erongo Mountains include these striking and unusual bi-colored Aquamarine crystals. The crystals have good luster and super, mirror-like terminations. The color ranges from a Cambridge Blue to greenish tips as the Aquamarines grade into almost Heliodor terminations. The Aquas, which range up to 3 cm, are richly distibuted across the entire Schorl matrix. There is even a partially gemmy, lustrous, and very euhedral 1.7 cm Orthoclase crystal intergrown with the Aquas. It is apparent that one Aqua is missing from the cluster, but it really does not affect the aesthetics of the piece at all. The distribution and density of the Aquas is simply too good.
