Aquamarine on Smoky Quartz (excellent) ex Charlie Key

A striking, very uncommon aquamarine and smoky quartz combination specimen from the Charlie Key dealer stock. The gemmy and lustrous, 1.9 x 1.7 x 1.7 cm, beautiful blue-green crystal looks distinctly like a fine Shigar, Pakistan aqua, but its not! This textbook hexagonal crystal is elegantly nestled among large, lustrous and translucent, dark smoky quartz crystals giving this excellent specimen a dramatic flair. The aqua is very nearly pristine, having only barely noticeable, infinitesimal edgewear. Periphery wear is noted on the smokies, but has minimal impact on the overall, very highly quality of this rare Erongo aqua and smoky combo.
