Aquamarine on Quartz ex Obodda

An adorable combination specimen from this obscure Pakistan locale - Raikot. A 4.0 cm, gemmy and lustrous, light blue, aquamarine crystal with a frosted/etched termination is jauntily attached to the side of a glassy, transparent, sharply terminated quartz crystal. Smaller quartz crystals partially encase the aqua and the piece is nicely accented with the preferentially placed muscovite crystals and a few pearlescent albite crystals. Complete all-around and pristine, except for the modest periphery wear at the base. Choice and rare combination material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued by Herb at $300, more than five years ago. It is certainly worth more today.
