Aquamarine on Quartz ex Obodda

A very aesthetic combination specimen from this obscure Pakistan locale - Raikot. A 2.7 cm, gemmy and lustrous, pretty powder-blue, aquamarine crystal with a frosted/etched termination is jauntily attached to the side of a glassy, transparent quartz crystal. The parallel-growth, multiple terminations are striking and they also have preferentially frosted/etched termination faces, while the prism faces are mostly water-clear. Complete all-around and pristine. Choice and rare combination material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued by Herb at $350, five or more years ago. It is certainly worth more today.
